This plaque honors the donations made in the name of Willis Bishop, who passed away in July, 2019. These donations led to gifts in his name to an orphanage in Quito, the San Vicente de Paul (established more than a century ago) and to the building of a bamboo house in Atacames, Ecuador, by CAEMBA.

Margarita is the proud owner of the house built by CAEMBA in the name of Willis Bishop. The house was built in Taita's memory.

The Taita House in Atacames, Ecuador
Made out of bamboo, the pre-fabricated house was put together by CAEMBA. The house was available to the new owner on December 7, in the town devastated by earthquake in April 2016. The house was erected by neighborhood volunteers in one day!

Olga Aigner is a longtime friend and benefactor of Ecuador and Ecuadorians. She donated to the Taita House, and over the years she has also donated generously to the orphanage San Vicente de Paul in Quito.
